Sally Jones-McNamara, MCS, CCC-SLP, CCE

 

Sally Jones-McNamara is currently a senior advisor with the Health Ethics Trust, the service arm of the Council of Ethical Organizations/Health Ethics Trust, a non-profit organization promoting ethics and compliance in business, government, healthcare and the professions. She operates as part of a team of certified healthcare compliance professionals and executives who travel to major healthcare organizations (hospital systems) to provide program assessments of compliance programs.   Sally has obtained the Certified Compliance Executive credential. 

Sally has a wide range of rehab and speech language pathology clinical, business development, compliance and executive experience.  In working for a number of national rehab companies she became an documentation compliance specialist, training therapist in developing Medicare compliant document.  She also become an expert witness for Medicare ALJ hearings.  She has had experience in private practice school administration, business development, functional outcomes, and educational program development.  While her husband was active duty military as a Navy Judge Advocate General (JAG) Lawyer, Sally gained diplomatic experience in Western Europe while she maintained her therapy career path.

Sally obtained a Bachelor’s  degree in Speech Pathology, Audiology & Speech Sciences and a M.ED (Special Education) in Clinical Studies from the Ohio University.

Sally is a member of the American Speech, Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) where she was elected Legislative Councilor from Virginia, elected to the Financial Planning Board, and served as Chair of Financial Planning Board.  She served as President of Council of Clinical Supervisors in Speech Pathology & Audiology.  She is a recipient of Martha Mullins Callendar Award from the Speech & Hearing Association of Virginia and is a member of the Communication Disorders Foundation of Virginia Board of Directors.  She currently services on the Virginia Licensure Board of Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology.  Sally also serves on the National Council of State Boards of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology and is trained as an Investigator.
